Ducks Live for the Outdoors
We push ourselves farther, seek out the remotest regions, find beauty and wisdom in every adventure. Whether you are an experienced explorer or a newbie, the Outdoor Program is excited to help facilitate your next trip. We offer a variety of class and clinics, bike rides and events, service projects, and group trips and events planned by Outdoor Program staff and co-op members.
Type of Events
May is going to be a great month for biking on campus and beyond! It’s a good time for fair-weather cyclists to roll those steads out of the garage and for everyone who rides bikes to celebrate together. With 30+ bike rides and events happening during the Eugene-Springfield Bike Month it’s the perfect time to try out something new! Visit webikelane.org for a complete list of events, dates, and times.
Join Richard on Saturday 5/26 for a long ride on the McKenzie Pass scenic byway. This road opens exclusivly to bikers for just a couple weeks every year, the time is now! The route is 45 miles, half up, half down.

Bring your mountain bike and get ready for a wild night under the full moon! Mountain bike is used loosely here. If your bike can ride on dirt and gravel trails, you're prepared for the intermediate ride down Moon Mountain. We will end at Denny's Diner for some late night breakfast for dinner.
Richard is going on another long Saturday ride! The destination this time is the Row River trail, one of our Oregon Scenic Bikeways. This is 31 mile single day ride.
