Coastal Bike Tour

Hi all! Jonathan has been dreaming of touring to the coast for a while and he figured that Memorial weekend would be an excellent chance to do a trip. He's hoping to find more people to make the 122 mile journey with him. If you're interested in bike touring and have a lot of biking experience, this trip is for you! People with intermediate to expert bike experience will do great on this trip, as well as those who are beginners as long as they understand the endurance it will take to bike 122 miles. Those miles will be stretched across three days, with the second being the longest distance and most elevation gain. The ride will be on hwy 136 and 134, heading towards Waldport before biking South on 101 to Florence on the third day (May 29th). There will be a van waiting for the group in Florence, so the journey home will be very restful.

Not only will the trip be about biking, but there are also fun things along the way- Triangle Lake Rock Slides, the town of Yachats, Thor's Well and the Hobbit Trail. The scenery will be spectacular because it should be nice and sunny. If you like sleeping outside and enjoying the little things in life, sign up! If you're like "Ehhh I've never done a trip like this, but I really want to give it a shot..." sign up and start talking to Jonathan. Perhaps you're soooo interested but have little biking experience and want to learn more- please check out our Bike Touring 101 clinic to get involved. Sign up today for the trip and --- Happy Bike Appreciation Month!
