Oregon Adaptive Sports Ski Trips

Oregon Adaptive Sports Ski Trips
Event Date:
Sunday, January 10, 2016 - 6:00am to Friday, January 15, 2016 - 6:00am

Do you love skiing almost as much as you love helping people? The Outdoor Program is looking for skilled and patient skiers to volunteer with Oregon Adaptive Sports. If that sounds like you, take advantage of this opportunity to get free transportation to Hoodoo, have a gratifying volunteer experience, and even get complimentary lift tickets. Oregon Adaptive Sports makes winter sports accessible for teens and adults with mental or physical disabilities, providing a powerful service to both participants and volunteers. This volunteer series will include a mandatory training on Jan. 10th, with on-hill volunteer days on Jan. 17th, Jan. 24th, Jan. 31st, and Feb. 21st. After you've attended the Jan.10th training, additional volunteer days (Jan. 17th, Jan. 24th, Jan. 31st, and Feb. 21st) are optional but highly encouraged. In addition to signing up below, please sign up at the OAS website and mention that you are volunteering through the Outdoor Program under additional comments. Tell your friends about this opportunity and don’t hesitate to contact with questions!
