Come join us for 45 to 50 minutes of pictures and stories of Keith's Polar expeditions followed by Q and A!
Keith Heger is an alum of the U of O's Outdoor Pursuits program! This exposed him to the rewards and skills required for wilderness travel and instruction. Upon graduation, with a Biology degree and minor in Chemistry, he joined NOLS (or the National Outdoor Leadership School Lander, WY) as a field instructor- further feeding his travel addiction.
Since 2004 and taking the Program Director role at The Northwest Passage, he has had the chance to travel and guide on 6 continents, stand on the highest peaks of North America, visit Antarctica, ski to both the North and South Poles, cross the Greenland Ice Cap more than once, and paddle thousands of miles in the Mediterranean, Great Lakes, Greenland, and Central America, as well as introduce thousands of first-timers to his home waters Lake Michigan.
This a fantastic opportunity to learn how you could turn your love for the outdoors into a lasting lifestyle of adventure and possibly even a lifelong career path!
