Mt. Pisgah Native Habitat Restoration

Buford Park
Event Date:
Tuesday, August 25, 2015 - 8:30am to 2:00pm

Mt. Pisgah is one of Eugene’s closest and most popular hikes, and it’s also a 209-acre tree museum! Join the Outdoor Program as we team up with Friends of Buford Park and Mt. Pisgah to assist with native habitat restoration. Participating in this service project is a great way to get your hands dirty while learning about plants native to the Willamette Valley. It takes a massive amount of volunteer effort to sustain this beautiful wildlife sanctuary.

We’ll be helping with two of the most important summer volunteer needs: seed harvest and invasive species removal.

Gloves, tools, and snacks will be provided- we just need your hands!

We are volunteering on Tuesday the 25th from 8:30am to 2:00pm

Pre-Trip is on Monday the 24th at 5:00pm at the Outdoor Program Barn. Must attend pre-trip to participate.
