Mountain Bike Trail Build Day

Event Date:
Saturday, May 21, 2016 - 8:15am to 4:00pm

One of the most fun trails in the McKenzie River district needs some help! Join the UO Bike Program and Disciples of Dirt on the trail to see what goes into building sustainable mountain bike trails. DOD is having a work day on the King Castle Trail, which will involve us changing the trail into single track at the bottom portion of it. It will be some digging, raking, loping, and good times. After some trail work, we will have the opportunity to ride our bicycles on one of the Oakridge trails or back in Eugene depending on the group's decision. Tools and instruction will be provided. Bring packed lunches and snacks for the trails. This is a "May Is Bike Month" event. Feel free to visit WeBikeEugene.org for more events!
