Environmental Art Expo

Event Date:
Thursday, April 21, 2016 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

In partnership with the Student Sustainability Coalition (SSC), the UO OP is hosting an Environmental Art Expo in our rental facility to celebrate Conservation Day of Earth Week 2016! In addition to refreshments, a photobooth from Envision Journalism, and displays of submitted art, we will have an interactive community art piece to which everyone is encouraged to contribute. Stop by anytime between 10am and 2pm on Thursday, April 21 to wander through the OP Barn looking at a variety of environmental-themed art pieces. To submit artwork to the exposition, drop off physical pieces at the SSC Office, located in EMU South (Mac Court). We are looking for any type of medium, from photography and drawings to paintings and sculptures. If you cannot submit the physical piece before 4/21, send a photograph of the work to events.uossc@gmail.com so that we can plan accordingly in order to incorporate your work into the expo! After submission, we will give further instructions regarding logistics. Email ellenas@uoregon.edu or events.uossc@gmail.com with any questions.
