Buford Park Service Project

Buford Park Service Project
Event Date:
Saturday, February 20, 2016 - 8:15am to 12:00pm

Mt. Pisgah is one of Eugene’s closest and most popular hikes, and it’s also a 209-acre tree museum! Join the Outdoor Program as we team up with Friends of Buford Park and Mt. Pisgah to assist with native habitat restoration. Participating in this service project is a great way to get your hands dirty while learning about plants native to the Willamette Valley. It takes a massive amount of volunteer effort to sustain this beautiful wildlife sanctuary. There is work to do year-round and the Outdoor Program will be participating in monthly service events at Buford Park every 3rd Saturday of the month. Gloves, tools, and snacks will be provided- we just need your hands!
