DIY Maintenance Shop

The Bike Program has a do-it-yourself (DIY) maintenance shop where students can use tools and workspace for free. We have internet access, “how-to” maintenance books, as well as knowledgeable staff to assist you in your repairs. The shop is located at the OP Barn on 18th and University. Current Maintenance Shop hours are:

Monday through Friday: 12 to 5 pm

Bike Program Mechanics and program volunteers help participants learn to repair their bikes to keep them in good condition throughout the duration of the term(s). The Bike Maintenance Shop is open to UO students and OP Co-op members.

We do not sell any parts or tubes at our shop, please visit a local bike shop (look under the Resource tab) and bring in new/used parts to install on your bike!

Maintenance Classes are offered through the Bike Program. Check the current Outdoor Program newsletter for details, or email bikes@uoregon.edu. The classes integrate information about bicycle maintenance, commuting skills, and safety.
